These URLS provides website features and other services to you when you visit or shop the ScanDesigns website, use scandesigns.com services. ScanDesigns.com provides the ScanDesigns.com Services subject to the following conditions. Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions of use. Please read them carefully. Your use of ScanDesigns.com Services constitutes your agreement to follow these rules and to be bound by them. ScanDesigns reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these terms and conditions each time you use this website. WARRANTY

Most items purchased at ScanDesigns carry additional manufacturer warranties. For all other items, ScanDesigns offers a (1) year limited warranty from the date of pick up or delivery. Please contact us for additional warranty information for a specific product. Defects or breakage resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, abnormal wear, and tear, or from commercial usage are not covered by warranty. Color and grain variations are natural characteristics of fine woods, leathers, marble, and slate. These natural characteristics are in no way to be considered a manufacturer defect. Fluctuations in humidity can cause some solid woods to crack which cannot be prevented. The splitting or cracking of solid wood is not a defect. Pilling is a natural occurrence in all fabrics where excess fibers come loose with wear. Pilling is not a defect in fabrics and can easily be cared for with proper maintenance.

If you require service on your product please contact your nearest store. All deliveries received from a third party must be inspected before signing any receiving documents. This is very important as ScanDesigns cannot be liable for any damage after the delivery is received. Please note, for those living outside of our local delivery zone ScanDesigns is unable to service its products and it is the customer's responsibility to cover all costs to transport the product back to ScanDesigns for warranty repairs.

Additional Stain Protection is offered on many products if you are concerned about stains or other accidents that may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you use ScanDesigns.com Services or send an email to ScanDesigns, you are communicating with ScanDesigns electronically and therefore consent to receiving communications from ScanDesigns electronically. LICENCE AND ACCESS

Subject to your compliance with these Conditions of Use and your payment of any applicable fees, ScanDesigns.com or its content providers grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and make personal and non-commercial use of ScanDesigns.com Services. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of ScanDesigns.com Services or their contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of ScanDesigns.com Services or their contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering and extraction tools. YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use ScanDesigns.com Services, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under the age of majority in your province of residence, you may use the ScanDesigns.com Services only with involvement of a parent or guardian. You grant ScanDesigns the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify ScanDesigns for all claims resulting from content you supply.

RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss and title for items purchased from ScanDesigns.com pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES AND TITLE

ScanDesigns does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at ScanDesigns's Distribution Centre. At ScanDesigns's discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, ScanDesigns.com does not take title to the refunded item. For more information about returns and refunds, please see ScanDesigns's Returns & Exchanges Policy.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

ScanDesigns reserves the right without prior notice to discontinue or change specifications on products and services offered on this website without incurring any obligations. Most products displayed on this site are available in select ScanDesigns stores.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

ScanDesigns.com attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, ScanDesigns does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of ScanDesigns.com Services is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by ScanDesigns.com itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition.

PRODUCT COLOURS

ScanDesigns.com does its best to display product colors shown on this website as accurately as possible. However, because the colors you see depend on your monitor, ScanDesigns.com cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color is accurate. ScanDesigns will not be held responsible for any discrepancies between the colour displayed for any given product on ScanDesigns.com and the actual perceived colour for this product itself.

PRODUCT PRICING

All prices shown on this site are quoted in Canadian dollars and are valid and effective in Canada only. ScanDesigns reserves the right to modify retail prices at any time and without prior notice. All prices indicated exclude taxes, delivery and assembly.

With respect to items sold by ScanDesigns.com, ScanDesigns cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite ScanDesigns’s best efforts, a small number of the items in the ScanDesigns.com catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than the ScanDesigns.com stated price, ScanDesigns will, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

ScanDesigns generally does not charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process.

ScanDesigns and you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration ScanDesigns and you each waive any right to a jury trial. ScanDesigns and you also both agree that you or ScanDesigns may bring suit in court to enjoin infringement or other misuse of intellectual property rights.

CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contest (“contest”) sponsored by ScanDesigns (“sponsor”) and administered by ScanDesigns. (“administrator”).

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator. Void where prohibited by law.

Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the Sponsor(s) and immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees or contractors, are not eligible to enter.

Administrators are not responsible for prize fulfillment nor for any technical failures. Winning entry will be verified. A list of winners will be displayed on the giveaway widget on the original contest post.

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and/or Google+ are in no way associated with this giveaway. If applicable, social media posts (such as but not limited to tweets and Instagram posts) must be PUBLIC to be eligible. If you sign up for newsletters as entries, you must confirm your subscription for those entries to count. A reply to the winning email is required within 48 hours before a new winner is chosen. The winner’s entries will be verified.

Residents of Canada will be required to enter a skill-testing question to claim their prize.

Administrators and sponsors reserve the right to publish winner’s first name and last initial.

If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards issued by ScanDesigns Ltd. are redeemable for in-store purchases only. The card may not be used to purchase another gift card or toward previously purchased merchandise. It is for personal use only, may not be refunded or exchanged, redeemed for cash or applied as payment to any account, unless required by law. ScanDesigns Ltd. does not accept responsibility for cards lost, damaged or stolen, or any unauthorized use of cards and unauthorized resale is prohibited. Acceptance of this card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. ScanDesigns Ltd. reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. ScanDesigns gift cards have no expiration date and no fees.
